We learn the rope of life
by untying its knots."

Monica started out at Studio X October 2010, she had first discovered pole fitness on YouTube. Someone had posted a professional pole dance competition video and the women in the competition were both strong and graceful. Prior to pole fitness Monica has taken Karate and gymnastics, she is also an avid runner. She started running about 5 years ago, then slowly picked up on weight lifting, kicked the smoking habit for good, and eats healthy (to a certain degree). After a while the weight lifting workouts got to be a little boring and she felt as if she wasn't getting anywhere with it. She then remembered the video she saw a few years back, and knew she had to try pole fitness out! After a year and a half in the studio she is the best shape she has ever been in and her strength and confidence has also increased. Monica is really happy that she decided to try it out, and now promotes it everyone! She really enjoys being an instructor and loves all the friends that she has made through this awesome community!
